Juno – Mother’s Day Edition

This review is dedicated to mothers everywhere.

The movie Juno is a happy-ish movie about teen pregnancy, involving such quirky lines as “‘Honest to blog” and “You’re Pregnant?  Just like our moms and teachers?”

The movie raises interesting questions concerning abortion, adoption, and motherhood, and how pretty much everybody makes a sacrifice in order to achieve some sort of happiness.Juno's Ultimate Shenanigan

… And while Speilberg’s E.T. features Reeses Pieces candy, Juno equally, perhaps even more daringly, features the orange juice Sunny D and orange-anti-cinnamon-flavored Tic-Tacs.

Strange, sad, and charming …  that about sums it up.

Juno is my fav film from 2007 – it is so great.

@Nick…Yeah, it’s a strangely upbeat film, even when it gets emotional. Thanks for commenting!

I cannot wait to get it on DVD, I could watch it a thousand times. I have already seen it 6 times in theatres – twice before it was even released in the US.
