World War II cartoon

Berlin?A cartoon my Grandpa Manuel drew in 1945, as a U.S. Army soldier stationed in Europe. After D-Day, he and only two other guys from his Company F survived. Maybe it’s because it would have been his birthday last Thursday, or the fact that Saving Private Ryan is on TV tonight, that made me think of this picture. I simply had to put it up.

    Thanks for the wonderful cartoon. What ever the emotion that evoked the the recollection of your grandfather’s cartoon, is not important. What is important that you keep his memory alive in your minnd and heart.
    He was obviously a very good artist.
